you starve yourself your metabolism drops. Your body is a wonderful
thing; it has built-in survival mechanisms hardwired into it. So when
you starve yourself your body knows it needs to conserve energy for the
vital organs and therefore it slows the metabolism down in order to
conserve energy. In addition, it will store fat in case the starvation
last for a period of time. As a result, your energy will plummet and
then once you stop dieting your metabolism is still slow and your body
is used to storing fat in case of another starvation period. This is one
of the primary reasons people gain weight when they starve themselves.

Starvation
as a diet is definitely not a good idea and is actually
counterproductive. Instead eat nutritious food, such as vegetables and
fruits, and your body will be getting the nutrition it needs. You can
eat as much healthy food (such as organic salad) as you want and you
will still lose weight. This is because vegetables and fruits and other
natural and organic foods deliver the nutrients your body needs without
all of the additives and unnecessary calories.
